Monday, July 24th
At the Sea Crest: Conference Registration & Continental Breakfast: 7:30 – 8:30AM

Monday Morning: SBDI UPDATED TRAINING OPPORTUNITY! Get off to a great start with conference registration, introductions, networking and socializing before the formal program begins.  Monday’s program is designed with school bus drivers, school bus instructors, and transportation directors in mind.  The industry’s leaders in school bus driver education will be speaking on the important issues that we all face each day.

At the Cape Cod Country Club:

  • 31st Annual Frank Underhill STAMble Golf Tournament.  Golfers must arrive at the course prior to 8AM.

At the Sea Crest:

  • 7:30AM Registration & Breakfast Buffet (included in your ticket)
  • 8:30AM to 11:30 AM Gray Ram Tactical, LLC.  will speak about: Active Shooter and Intruder Response Training, Hijacking Awareness, Verbal and Non-Verbal Indicators of Violence, Verbal and Non-Verbal DeEscalation Techniques.
  • 11:30AM – 11:45AM Break
  • 11:45AM to 12:30PM Margaret Rohanna (RMV/DOT School Bus Program Manager) will speak on “Everything School Bus“.
  • 12:30PM to 1:30 PM Lunch (included in your ticket)
  • 1:30PM to 2:30 PM Lexi Higgins (Busing On The Lookout) will speak on “Look Out For Human Trafficking”
  • OR
  • 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM State Government Official to be announced for a new additional break-out session for company managers and owners.
  • 2:30 to 2:45 Break
  • 2:45PM to 3:45 PM Samatha Ingle, STAM RMV Updated Training Teacher will speak on “Teach your drivers about School Bus Safety”
  • OR
    2:45PM to 3:45 PM Curt Mcysyn (NSTA)Topic to be announced for a new additional break-out session for company managers and owners.
  • 4PM School Bus Display: The TRADE SHOW begins after the STAMble Golf Tournament as the golfers and convention attendees will return to the Sea Crest for golf awards and cocktails in the STAM Tent and to see the school bus display from various vendors in the Sea Crest Beach Hotel Parking area.
  • Annual STAM Clambake at 6PM (Please purchase a ticket)

Tuesday, July 25th
At the Sea Crest: Conference Registration & Continental Breakfast: 7:00 – 8:30AM

Tuesday Morning: SBDI UPDATED TRAINING OPPORTUNITY! Tuesday’s program begins with presentations from each trade show booth.  Exhibitors are available all day to network with conference attendees, so please visit each trade show booth and help support those who support the STAM Convention!   • 10AM to 11:00AM Margaret Rohanna (RMV/DOT School Bus Program Manager) will speak on “Everything School Bus“.  She will explain proper record keeping.
  • 11:00AM to 12:00PM Edward Burman (Lieutenant, Wayland Police Department) will speak on “Law Updates
  • 12:30PM to 1:30PM Luncheon Edward Burman (Lieutenant, Wayland Police Department) will speak on “Law Updates
  • 1:45 to 2:45 Break Out for:
  • Jennifer Robichaud, (Sr. Loss Control Consultant, Future Comp/USI) will speak on “Behavioral Challenges on the School Bus”

OR

  • Joe Ambash (Lawyer, Fisher Phillips) will speak on “MA PMFLA and Other Human Resource Issues”
  • 3:00PM to 4PM Break out for:
  • Susan Thomas, STAM RMV Updated Training Teacher will show a Pre-trip Inspection Demonstration Video and answer questions.

OR

  • Gary Rennie, EPA will speak on  “Electric Buses

Tuesday Dinner: Bus will depart the Sea Crest Beach Hotel promptly at 5:30PM.  Dinner is at the Landfall Restaurant at 6PM.

ATTENTION SCHOOL BUS DRIVER INSTRUCTORS!!! 

The STAM Convention & Trade Show is recognized by the DOT/RMV to provide the updated training required at least every four years; 540 CMR 8.00.  If you have not attended an updated training program recently, make plans to attend the STAM Convention at The Sea Crest NOW!  Certificates of Attendance will be handed out at the end of the convention program.
